The next day my mom came down for Paige's sacrament meeting program ("Jesus Christ is the perfect example for me" which she had memorized!!). So we took a trip out to Black Island Farms and invited grandma Roberts along too. It is such a fun place to go, it's just super expensive. I justify the cost by realizing that it's going to the farmers who are in great need of it. We had lots of fun riding the slides and their little train, along with feeding the animals. The funniest part was when I got tripped up in the ropes and fell flat on my back trying to save Brett who was in a carrier on my tummy. Luckily I fell on straw and there was some guy who helped me up. We had lots of fun that day and hopefully the kids will look back on this and remember how much fun it was.
Halloween was a lot of fun this year. There were Halloween activities at Paige's preschool and at Ashley's day care. Paige was Rapunzel (a dress up she got for her birthday) and Ashley was a flower. Brett was a baby in halloween jammies. We attended our ward trunk or treat and had lots of donuts and rides on Dave's (our cute neighbor) tractor. The next night we celebrated Halloween with our great friends, the Stones. Their street has a culdesac so we sent the men with the kids for a good round of trick or treating while the women stayed at home to open doors and pig out. We had lots of fun and so greatful for amazing friends like them.
