New Year's Day

I am super lucky to have such a wonderful family!! Like our past usual New Years parties, there was lots of food and laughter. We played games, watched my brother-in-law, Eric, make a goofball of himself, danced to the wii and shoved yummy French dip into our mouths. This new year couldn't have started any better! New Years resolutions!

Blogging in 2012 was not a good year! I slacked off and got a little lazy but now I'm back on the bandwagon! It makes me sad to think of all the things I missed blogging about, especially Brett's first year. It would just be too hard to go back and fill in so I'm starting fresh and that includes making new goals.
Scott and I sat down tonight and made lists in the categories of physical, spiritual, family and of course financial. I won't boor you with details but the gist was putting down our phones, turning off the tv and just spending more quality time as a family and getting into a routine that will help us prevent wasted time. They are reasonable and obtainable goals that we will achieve with constant prayers and frequent evaluations! Here's to a positively consistent new year!
